My services
I want to help home quilters complete their projects! If you have a completed top (pieced or applique) I can do the quilting. If you need, I can provide the batting and back and finish the binding, too. I do free-hand quilting that will enhance the beautiful work all ready in the quilt. I will focus on the basics - free flowing designs that make your quilt look and feel great!
Machine Basting for Hand Quilting
No more crawling around on your knees basting your quilt by hand! I can align your top, batting, and back. Then I will baste them together with a stitch every three or four inches. You can save yourself from this step, and just put the quilt in your frame and do your hand quilting. The charge for machine basting is $50.
Machine Quilting
The service I offer is "Comfort Quilting." I do hand-guided free-motion quilting in harmony with the design of your quilt. My quilting will highlight the beauty of your quilt, and the quilt retains its softness. My quilting rate is 2.5 cents per square inch. For example, if your quilt is 80" by 80", the charge would be $160, plus sales tax at 6%. You provide the batting and the back (which must be 8 inches larger than your quilt - both dimensions).
